One inventory. Every storefront. Your rails.

Infinite Markets runs your catalog, stock, shipping and Lightning checkout inside your own LNbits, then publishes it to Nostr so you can sell on your own web shop and on marketplaces like Plebeian Market and Conduit Market, with one inventory and every order invoiced from your own wallet.

The problem

Selling for bitcoin on Nostr is still fragile

Every storefront wants its own copy of your shop, payments are hard to prove, and relays forget. Infinite Markets fixes the plumbing.

01

Fragmented catalogs

The web shop and each marketplace keep their own copy; stock drifts and you oversell.

One authoritative catalog, published as open Nostr events.

02

"Was it paid?"

Nostr receipts and buyer-stated amounts aren't proof; retries create duplicate invoices.

Only settled LNbits payments confirm orders.

03

Browser-bound shops

Orders wait until the merchant's tab or signer is online.

Background workers inside LNbits run 24/7.

04

Unreliable relays

Publishing isn't delivery, deleted items linger, and nothing records who accepted what.

Durable outbox with per-relay evidence and a live catalog check.

05

Legacy protocol

NIP-15 is unrecommended and NIP-04 messages reveal who buys from whom.

NIP-99 + Gamma spec, with NIP-17 gift-wrapped orders.

06

Manual / unbound invoicing

Invoices sent by hand after an order arrives, or paid to a Lightning address that isn't tied to the order.

Every order gets an LNbits invoice bound to it, automatically.

07

Centralized platform lock-in

Shopify-style platforms hold payouts and customer data, and make leaving costly. (Nostr marketplaces don't: they're non-custodial and your key is portable.)

Import your Shopify CSV as drafts; your key, stock, shipping and wallet stay with you.

How it works

Two rails, one pipeline

Infinite Markets is the commerce authority: catalog, inventory, shipping, orders and messages. LNbits core stays the settlement authority: invoices, payment records and your funding source.

Rail 1 · web

A storefront you own

  • Categories, collections, filters and sorting
  • Lightning checkout with private order links
  • Sign in with Nostr or an email magic link
  • Theme presets, 4 layouts, dark mode, embeds
Rail 2 · Nostr

Native Nostr commerce

  • NIP-99 listings, collections and shipping options
  • Encrypted NIP-17 orders to your own inbox relays
  • NIP-89 handler: clients deep-link to your pages
  • Merchant profile with NIP-05 and Lightning address
Shared pipeline

Every order, same path

  1. Validate and reprice from current data
  2. Reserve stock atomically (15-minute hold)
  3. LNbits creates an invoice bound to the order
  4. Settlement confirms; expiry releases stock
No duplicate invoices. No double allocation. Relay delivery is never mistaken for payment truth.
Publish everywhere

Every marketplace becomes another storefront

Your catalog is published as standard Gamma / NIP-99 events signed with your own key. Buyers check out in the marketplace they already use; the order arrives encrypted in your inbox and goes through the same reservation and invoice pipeline as a web order.

  • InventoryOne stock count across every channel, held in your LNbits
  • ShippingYour zones and rules, published for marketplaces to quote
  • PaymentsEvery order invoiced from your wallet, bound to that order
  • CustomersEvery buyer conversation in your own admin, whichever app they used
  • IdentityYour Nostr key, portable across every Nostr app

Infinite Markets listings on plebeian.market
Live on plebeian.market (Oct 9): listings published by Infinite Markets. Scripted Plebeian checkout suite: 14/14 passing; a live checkout and order on plebeian.market completed end-to-end on Oct 13 (wrapped order, invoice, settlement, status wraps over public relays). Physical-item orders from Plebeian are declined for now (no machine-readable country). Conduit Market: same spec, testing to do.

Get started

Install in three steps

You need LNbits 1.6.0 or newer and a wallet to receive payments. Try it with small amounts first.

Full install guide →

Add the manifest

In LNbits: Server → Extensions → Manifest sources.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bitkarrot/infinitemarkets/main/manifest.json

Open it — that's it

Keys auto-generate on first run; the base URL falls back to LNBITS_BASEURL when it is a canonical https origin. Set INFINITEMARKETS_* vars to manage keys/origin explicitly.

Bind a wallet and publish

Pick the merchant wallet, add a product, and it appears on your storefront and on Nostr.
